February 26, 2020 @ 11:30 am - 1:00 pm

March Guest Speaker – Flood Discussion
George Best, Area VP Loss Control Services Consultant

CCR famously sang “Who’ll stop the rain…”. While we don’t have an answer to that question, we can surely help to shed some light on how to protect against the resulting floods. Join us on March 11th as George Best gives valuable updates and insight into changes with the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP)/

George works with a wide range of Gallagher clients to provide loss control services to help improve overall safety and to reduce the total cost of risk. Among his responsibilities, he reviews loss data to identify problem trends and root causes; implementation of corporate safety policies and procedures to eliminate or control losses; assists with management, supervisor, and employee safety training and the implementation of new tools and value-added services to clients. He also works directly with Gallagher’s insurance markets providing risk management for flood and surface water exposures.

George brings more than 30 years’ experience in loss control, safety and risk management for the construction, manufacturing and service industries. He provides sound advice and strategic safety program development for a variety of middle-market to the largest management accounts. He is an Authorized 10/30 hour OSHA Outreach Instructor for both construction and general industry and is a member of several safety committees for regional boards and trade groups. He is also an instructor of risk management principles for insurance agents and clients.
